Antique Fireplace Tile By The Decorative Art Tile Ltd C1880

This tile is made by The Decorative Art Tile Ltd, c1880; it is very unusual for them to use the stencilled slip technique.

The tiles are in very good condition for their age, with just a few tiny marks on the surface and some nibbles on the edges.

Each tile measures 6" x 6".

We salvaged these tiles from an original Victorian fireplace.
It will look lovely framed as a single tile or in a set of similar tiles, or it can just be fitted back in a fireplace.
