Up for sale is this superb two colours translucent glaze, antique art nouveau tile in a superb Japonaiserie pattern of fans a lotus blossom.Believed to be made by The Decorative Art Tile Co on a Rhodes Tile co blank.
Registered number on the back is 410774, and appears to dates between 1903-1904.An example of this tile can be seen on the Chris Blanchett book 20th C Decorative British Tiles at page number 162.
Measuring 6" x 6" ,15cm x 15cm.
A very nice tile to be added to any collection.
