This beautiful pair of block-printed tiles is available for sale featuring two stags in a medieval style.The tiles are in very good condition, with some chips and nibbles around the edges.One of them has a bit more chips than the others.
The backs are clean and feature an embossed Mintons China Works Stoke on Trent and the pattern number 1785.These tiles can be found in sheet 17 of Mintons Tiles and were designed as border tiles, with three 6-inch tiles above and below, creating a wide border effect.
