Antique Tile Owen Gibbons For Maw & Co Broseley Salop, Reading Stories C1882

A lovely pictorial tile of the Reading Stories series was made around 1882-85.

There are only 12 tiles in the series; we only have four tiles available.

They were probably designed by Owen Gibbons, who designed a lot of tiles for Maw & Co.
These tiles are extremely rare to find.
The tile is transfer printed in brown and measures 15.4cm x 15.4 cm. (6"x6").

The tile is in excellent condition.
