Rare British Empire Exhibition 1924 Silver Plate & Enamel Vesta Case - Lion

This is a silver plate and enamel vesta case from the British Empire Exhibition in 1924.
The case features a turquoise enamel lion emblem above a white enamel shield with the year "1924" on it.
Below, in deep blue enamel, is the word "Wembley".
The case can be opened by pressing a button and has a strong spring.

It measures about 5.4cm x 3.5cm x 1cm

It is in good condition for its age, has a few hits and in some places the silver plating is missing
It will need a good cleaning. It comes in the original conditions as found.
