Official Commemorative Issues – 35 Silver Medallic First Day Covers 1975-1977

The International Society of Postmasters released a commemorative issue consisting of 36 sterling silver medals.
Each medal has a first-day stamped envelope and a Certificate of Authenticity on the reverse.
The envelopes are addressed to the subscriber and bear a cancelled stamp from the country of origin.
These were issued between 1975 and 1977.
The medals are made of 925 Sterling Silver and are part of the First Edition Proof.
Each medal is a testament to a significant historical moment, featuring a bust or scene that reflects the commemorative person or event. Some of the notable moments included in this set are the 35th Anniversary of the United Nations and Queen Elizabeth's 80th birthday.
Subscribers also received a hardbound fitted album, which includes individual index cards with vocabulary.
Each coin weighs 20 grams and is struck in 92.5% Sterling silver.

Just so you know, each issue is in mint condition, the same as the album, and we still have the original box that was delivered.

Total Weight: 3.681 grams, of which 36 silver coins weigh about 720 grams.
