Large Metal Dog Figure Sculpture Cocker Spaniel Signed O. Steinberger London

This is a well-made and detailed chromed metal figure of a spaniel, likely from the 1940s or 1960s.
Thought I couldn't identify the maker.
It is signed on the stand also under the tail, and can be used as a paperweight or a decorative piece.
The figure is heavy and beautifully crafted.

It measures about 20 cm long, 13.5cm high by 6cm wide at the base.

It comes in the original conditions as found.
