Sampson Mordan Novelty Silver Champagne Bottle Extending Pencil Extremely Rare

This rare novelty Silver (probably solid silver) extending pencil is for sale in the form of a champagne bottle by renowned silversmith Sampson Mordan.
Mordan & Co are known for these novelty pieces, primarily made in solid/sterling silver but weren't generally hallmarked in the early years.

This is tested and is solid silver, but there are no hallmarks.
This is in very good condition; the mechanism works well and is smooth.
The bottom of the pencil is missing, and the enamel on the bottle label is a little worn.
The bottom will be an easy fix buy a good jeweller.

It measures roughly 10 cm, fully extended and marked Sampson Mordan & Co.
These pieces are always highly collectable and in demand and will look fantastic in any collection.
