Superb Victorian 9ct Gold Cased Dip Pen Propelling Pencil with Seal

This is a rare antique Victorian propelling pencil and dip pen made of 9 ct gold, which is unmarked. The main body is designed with hand-engraved foliate scrolls. The pencil has a twist-action tip to extend and retract the pencil lead mechanism, and all the pencil mechanisms are in excellent working order.
It is engraved with "Presented to Dr. R.A Williams, February 14th 1891, By the Old Oak Tree Lodge".
It is in fantastic condition for its age and in fully working condition; it will require a new lead.

It measures about 9.7cm closed and 12.3cm open.
Total weight: 22 grams.

It is in very good condition for its age.
