Vintage Silver Yard O Led Yardolette Propelling Pencil 1947 Johnson Matthey & Co

This vintage propelling pencil is a Yard O Led Yardolette model of sterling silver.
It has a hallmarked band with the Johnson Matthey & Co. maker's mark and the London Assay Office mark from 1947.
The pencil is a well-constructed instrument with durable, thick silver and a reliable, smooth propelling mechanism.
It also has a comfortable weight and balance, making it suitable for extended use.
