Antique Embossed and Chiselled Vermeille Silver Goblet Silversmith Louis Manaut

This superb and highly rare-to-find chiselled Vermeille silver gild small goblet is for sale.
It bares Minerva's head marks for 800 grade, with the maker's mark for Louis Manaut C1830.

I am not sure what this small goblet was intended for; probably a Christening goblet or egg cup.

It is in excellent condition for its age, with some minor dents and tarnishes on the gild.

I have gently cleaned it a little bit.

This is a genuinely fantastic piece to be added to any collection.

It measures approx. 7.4cm H x 4.5cm in diameter. It weighs 29.4 grams.
