Description

This is an excellent-quality sterling silver bread or fruit bowl.
It has an oval pierced body with an applied gadroon border.
The item was fully hallmarked for Sheffield in 1917, and the maker's mark is that of the renowned James Dixon & Sons Ltd.
The bowl is in good condition, with only minor tiny surface scratches at the base. There are no damages or repairs to the item.

It is in good condition for its age but shows wear from use.
It will need a good cleaning. It comes in the original conditions as found.
