Antique French Creil et Montereau Plate "Opera Bouffe" Black & White Hamlet

This Creil et Montereau decorative plate dates from the latter part of the 1800s.

A series of plates depicting scenes from various comic or satiric operas called Opera Bouffe was made by this manufacturer under the ownership of LeBeouf, Milliet, and Company (L M et Cie).

This particular plate illustrates a scene from the Opera Bouffe, Hamlet, which is very rare.

Black print on white, two signatures on the front plate No. 12

Good Antique used condition with a few small chips and a hairline crack.
