Antique Japanese Cloisonne Ginbari Foil & Silver Wire Vase Koi Carp

This stunning antique Japanese Ginbari vase features a design of Koi Carps swimming amidst golden-yellow flowers on a translucent blue-white background.

Created during the Meiji period (1868-1912), it is a miniature Ginbari foil vase known for its transparent enamel over a dotted silver layer applied to the copper sheet body.
This exquisite work of art deserves preservation.

The vase is in good condition considering its age, with just a few hairline cracks on the design's right side and a few enamel losses around the rim.

But that is all I can visually see on it.

It measures approx 12cm x 6cm in diameter.
