Antique Nickel Plated Peg and Worm Corkscrew with Cap Lifter Peg

Antique nickel-plated pin and worm clock screw with a cap lifting hook.
It is a beautiful travel bottle opener made in the early 19th century.
The pin fits snugly inside the corkscrew and snaps into place when closed.

The tiburon has a hole on the side that receives the needle, used to make the pull handle.
The cork has beautiful decorative details to have in your collection.
One of them appears in a Christie's catalogue from 1994.

The catalogue shown in the pictures is not included in this sale.

It is in very good condition for its age.

It measures approximately 10.9cm long.
