Antique Victorian Pounce Pot Pepperette Salt Pot Pepper Pot

For sale is this stunning Victorian pot.
It could also be used as a pounce, salt or pepper pot.
There are no maker marks on it.
The pounce pot was used to dry ink and sprinkle on a rough writing surface to make it smooth enough for writing.

This is a lovely pot of great age and originality.
The pounce pot is in very good condition; it comes as found so it will require some cleaning.

It measures approx. 7cm x 3.7cm.
