Early 19th Century Large Papier Mache Snuff Box Brunswick Stobwasser?

This is an antique mahogany snuff box from the early 19th century.
I believe it is made by Stobwasser, but there is no signature.
It's made of papier machè and has an elegant design painted in oil.

The lid features a beautiful, perfectly preserved portrait of a bearded man.
This snuff box is in excellent condition, with some tiny chips.

It measures about 2.3cm x 9cm.
