Georgian Period Solid Silver Sugar Nips Stephen Adams C1770

Up for sale is these attractive pair of mid-18th century tea tongs in the ornate rococo style typical of the 1770's.
The central boss bears contemporary to manufacture engraved "SIM" initials and the finger rings are stamped with the marks for Stephen Adams.
There are no signs of damage or repair and these tongs remain in fine original condition.
Measures about 12cm long and weighs 40 grams.
