Pair of Japanese Kutani Hand Painted Bottle Vases Onion Shape Meiji Period

These are a beautiful pair of Kutani hand-painted bottle vases from the Meiji period in Japan.
They have a burnt orange lustre and feature birds with floral decoration highlighted by gilding.
Both vases are signed on the base and are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration work.
There are some thin scratches on the paintwork due to their age and usage.

The vases are 29cm tall x 10.2cm in diameter.
