This Victorian English sterling silver novelty letter opener is made as a sword.
We love fine sterling silver, and this gorgeous antique letter opener is no exception.
The letter opener is in a dagger style.
It has a very cool design and belonged to a "fine" Victorian home.
This piece remains in excellent condition and exhibits some of the finest ornamentations we’ve seen on a piece of its kind.
The light patina that has covered the handle over these many years has provided an incredible sense of texture and dimension.
There is stamped sterling and silver on the reverse of the piece.
Though there are a few light surface scratches and a light patina, this letter opener remains in spectacular antique condition.
It will make a unique and elegant gift or addition to your collection.
